        เดือนตุลาคม ปี 2008 Justin Bieber เซ็ญสัญญาอย่างเป็นทางการกับ Island Records  อัลบั้มแรกในชีวิตของเขามีชื่อว่า My World ที่เป็นการมองอย่างลึกซึ้งเข้าไปในห้วงความคิดของเด็กหนุ่มที่มีความรู้กว้างขวาง จากผลงานการผลิตจากเจ้าของผลงานฮิตมากมายอย่าง The Dream และ Tricky Stewart ที่โปรดิวซ์เพลงอย่าง Umbrella ให้กับ Rihanna และผลงานสุดฮิตล่าสุดของ Beyonce อย่าง Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) มาแล้ว Justin มีทุกสิ่งที่เขาต้องการในการที่จะก้าวขึ้นสู่การเป็นที่สุดในวงการเพลงป๊อป แต่นั่นเป็นเพียงก้าวแรก เพราะ อัลบั้มที่สอง My World 2.0 นั้นประสบความสำเร็จมากกว่าอัลบั้มแรกเสียอีก จนชื่อของเขากลายเป็นศิลปินแนวหน้าในยุค 2010 เลยทีเดียว โดยเขาจะตระเวนแสดงสดไปทั่วอเมริกาและแคนาดาในปี 2010-2011 และในเดือนกรกฎาคม ค.ศ. 2010 มีการรายงานว่าบีเบอร์เป็นบุคคลที่มีชื่อเสียงที่ถูกค้นหาในอินเตอร์มากที่สุดเช่นเดียวกับมิวสิกวีดีโอของเพลง "เบบี้" (Baby) ซึ่งแซงเพลงของ เลดี้ กาก้า "แบดโรมานส์" จนเป็นวีดีโอที่มีคนชมมากที่สุดของเว็บไซต์ยูทูบเท่าที่เคยมีมา

     นอกจากนั้นเขายังได้เป็นนักแสดงรับเชิญของสถานีโทรทัศน์ช่อง CBS ในซีรี่ยดัง ซีเอสไอ: ไครม์ซีนอินเวสติเกชัน ซึ่งจะถูกนำออกอากาศในวันที่ 23 กันยายน ค.ศ. 2010 และยังมีการแสดงในตอนอื่นๆด้วยโดยบทของเขาจะเชื่อมต่อกันบีเบอร์ยังได้มีภาพยนตร์ 3 มิติ "Never Say Never" โดยเกี่ยวกับตัวเขาเอง กำกับโดย Jon Chu ผู้กำกับจาก Step Up 3D ออกฉายครั้งแรกในช่วงเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ค.ศ. 2011 และในเดือนตุลาคม ค.ศ. 2010 เขาได้ออกอัลบั้ม ชื่อว่า มายเวิลด์ อคูสติก (My Worlds Acoustic)  โดยได้ออกจำหน่ายในวัน Black Friday ในสหรัฐอเมริกา โดยเป็นเพลงเก่าในรูปแบบอคูสติก เพลงซิงเกิ้ล และเพลงซิงเกิ้ลใหม่ "Pray" ต่อมาจัสติน บีเบอร์ได้ออกอัลบั้มใหม่เป็นคริสต์มาสอัลบั้มแรก และสตูดิโออัลบั้มที่สองโดยออกจำหน่ายเมื่อวันที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน ค.ศ. 2011 หลังปล่อยให้รอคอยมานาน จัสติน บีเบอร์ (Justin Bieber) ก็ปล่อยมิวสิควิดีโอ Boyfriend ฉบับเต็มออกมาให้แฟนๆ ได้ดูแล้ว โดย Boyfriend เป็นซิงเกิลแรกในอัลบั้ม Believe ซึ่งมีแผนเปิดตัววันที่ 19 มิถุนายน 2012 ที่ผ่านมา
